Braselton Violin Studio:
The violin studio of Emily Nicolich welcomes students of all ages. Emily is a caring, enthusiastic and talented teacher. Those playing violin at school and looking for additional tutelage are also welcome.
Location:
I usually teach lessons at my home near Chateau Elan in Braselton, Georgia which is located just off exit 126 on I85 North. My subdivision is just off New Liberty Church Road which is easily accessible via Winder Highway (53) or Old Winder Highway (211). Neighboring towns to Braselton include Gainesville, Jefferson, Oakwood, Buford, Sugar Hill, Winder, Flowery Branch and Thompsons Mill.
Students Receive:- Four 45 Minute lessons per month
- Regular recitals
- Assistance purchasing violin and equipment
Emily Nicolich is certified in the Suzuki method of violin instruction and has been teaching all ages at her own studio for several years.

Background:
Emily started her passion for the violin at age five and has progressed through the tutelage of Jack Ashton of the Utah Symphony among other instructors. She demonstrated a special talent at competitions and performances early on. Emily has attended the prestigious Berklee College of Music in Boston where she was awarded a talent scholarship. She is an accomplished recording artist and has received acclaim from music industry notables including Brian Wilson of The Beach Boys and Kurt Bestor. Her acoustic rock band Finally Friday has performed on local television, won a state-wide battle of the bands competition sponsored by Highway Records and recently emerged from the recording studio with their debut album "Curbs and Cracks." The band continues to win fans and rack up awards through popular on-line communities such as GarageBand.com.
Emily has accrued extensive recording studio experience. She has received accolades in the industry for her work as a session player.
Emily remains very active as a performing artist. Performances:
- Played at the 2007 Fall Georgia Mountain Fair in Hiawassee, Georgia with Ryan Casper who opened for long-time country music star John Anderson. Ryan's band this year included a who'se who list of top-tier performers from Nashville.
- Played for 5000+ fans at the 2006 Georgia Mountain Fair with the up-and-coming Ryan Casper Band who opened that night for Josh Turner, a CMT top 10 artist.
- Emily was recently honored to play on stage at the Apache Cafe in Atlanta with Toni Blackman who is a very accomplished contemporary artist.
- Sold-out audience at the Rose Wagner Theater in Salt Lake City where Emily received a standing ovation in part for her stirring rendition of "Devil Went Down to Georgia."
- Emily has and continues to perform at a multitude of civic and religious events for audiences large and small.
- As band member of the acoustic rock band Finally Friday, Emily has played at many venues and was instrumental in the band's successful grand prize honors at the 2005 Utah's Next Competition sponsored by Highway Records.
- She has also performed in several prestigious orchestras including The Young Artist Chamber Players and the Rocky Mountain Youth Camarata traveling youth orchestra who performed throughout Europe.
Emily is an award-winning composer. She has received prestigious awards for music composition at the regional and national level including first place honors at the 2000 ASTA competition amid astounding talent.
